PROCEDURE

  1. INSPECT CYLINDER HEAD SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Inspect cylinder head sub-assembly warpage.

      1. Using a precision straightedge and feeler gauge, measure the warpage on the cylinder block sub-assembly side, the intake side and exhaust side.

Intake side 0.20 mm (0.00787 in.)
Exhaust side 0.20 mm (0.00787 in.)

If the warpage is greater than the maximum, replace the cylinder head sub-assembly.
